For Curly's and the team (as with all our events) its far more than a simple half marathon, with it comes a great opportunity and responsibility to help inspire people into activity, raise money for amazing causes and bring something truly inspirational to the town... and if that's not for you then no problem, you can go out and have just have a great run (maybe even a sneaky PB)
Great facilities on site and the course will not disappoint those who are hoping for a fast yet challenging run. It's got a few lumps in it but we make sure they're early on ... and what's life without a little challenge. We've now also added an interactive route map (sometimes we wow the technical world!) go take a look at the route here and you can see for yourself :)
Fully UKA licensed, chip timed, closed roads, free parking, great facilities, four well stocked aid stations, superb support team, armies of amazing volunteers, with CAKE, medal, and FREE event photos to all finishers waiting for you at the end!
The information pack is full of information (odd that!) so have a read through :)

Starting and finishing at the Keepmoat Stadium we take you on a journey out of Doncaster back to the original start line from 1982 in the amazing community of Rossington before returning to a Stadium finish right in front of your awaiting fans!
See you soon
While we may not follow this route, this is a great one hour documentary on the 1983 St Leger Half Marathon with over 4000 runners. We're chuffed that we "doffing the running cap" to the course and passing over the original start line from this 1983 video.
ps: we think the 80's sportswear is due a come back!
