Starting and finishing at the Keepmoat Stadium we take you on a journey out of Doncaster back to the original start line from 1982 in the amazing community of Rossington. Along the way taking in the big open roads out to and along the Great Yorkshire Way, taking in the big Yorkshire Y before returning to a Stadium finish right in front of your awaiting fans!
Thanks to Cupcakes2love we bring you the PB summoning gift of cake to greet you at the finish!
Along with FREE event photos so you can recall just what you did to earn the cake! Check out a selection of last years photos
You couldn't ask for a better finish line than right on the centre spot of the Keepmoat Stadium pitch!
The perfect location for all your loyal fans to cheer you in!
For 2020 expect more activities taking place for the family in and around the stadium alongside the great junior events we had in 2019.
Sharing stories, providing opportunities, promoting local activities, supporting local groups and aiming to inspire as many people as we can to get active. A half marathon isn't for everyone... so we even have junior & parents races plus other activities happening at the venue and maybe something else happening out on the course!
We want people to see a Doncaster rich in leisure opportunities and with a physically active population. We invite everyone to get involved and please get in touch to be part of something special in Doncaster!
Working with local clubs and charities bringing people together and doing great things.
We head into the heart of Rossington Village. A village with a strong community spirit and some of the best supporters you'll ever meet cheering you on the day!
A huge amount of thanks to the following for their support in bringing the Doncaster Half Marathon back after 20 years!

While we may not follow this route, this is a great one hour documentary on the 1983 St Leger Half Marathon with over 4000 runners. We're chuffed that we "doffing the running cap" to the course and passing over the original start line from this 1983 video.
ps: we think the 80's sportswear is due a come back!
