Providing opportunities to exercise by promoting local activities, supporting local groups as well as helping to remove barriers to exercise.
We want people to see a Doncaster rich in leisure opportunities and with a physically active population.
Working with clubs, charities and associated groups to bring people together.
We also head into the heart of Rossington Village. A village with a strong community spirit and some of the best supporters you'll ever meet cheering you on the day!
While we may not follow this route, this is a great one hour documentary on the 1983 St Leger Half Marathon with over 4000 runners. We're chuffed that we "doffing the running cap" to the course and passing over the original start line from this 1983 video.
ps: we think the 80's sportswear is due a come back!
